I never got a Koss SparkPlug to sound decent, but the ep-630 is pretty nice for the price. I'm slightly annoyed at the microphonics and the isolation isn't as good as that on my e3c. I've never tried the AKGs you mention, though.
yeah shure e3c it´s much better but it´s too expensive to me....
i searching whats the better choice ep 360 or akg 324...
i want to buy one of then... to put on my ipod... but it´s difficult to decide...
thanks anyway
I'd go for one that people knows heavily here and that's the EP630s. I got one myself and paid $20 CDN for it, cant be more happy. Use it mainly for gym. Very sturdy.
I've had the koss' before and if you like BASS then that's your solution. But I won't recommend it for other music genres because it stinks literally.
i got the ep-630 for "free" with a laptop purchase, it was decent: loads of bass, mids were kinda awkward for me, highs are alright.
for ~$20-30 it is a good buy.
dont forget the jvc marshmallow (fx33), they are my favorites out of the cheap earphone solutions i have tried. loads of bass, very forward mids, boosted highs; in-your-face for on-the-go!
k324p sounds more balance and cleaner than ep630. ep630 is somewhat incoherent in its mid-bass to bass range. so is cx300, but with a warmer thicker presentation. k324p is more analytical and coherent though it is still a bit bass heavy if used with bass-heavy machines like iriver or creative. ep630 IS bass-heavy. CX300 is VERY bassy.
