I have used asio4all with foobar for a long time now. I have an xfi xtrememusic, and I just realized that in my creative audio console, there is an option for bit-matched playback.

Would this be as good as using asio4all?

If you connect X-Fi through S/PDIF into some D/A converter then bit-matched playback is best choice, I quess. Dunno what Asio4All got to do with it at all.
