Greetings....

I like the fact that foobar is an open source app... and the way it handles large libraries. Where is a good place to start on designing your own skin... I've reviewed several other skins and would like to try my own hand at it...

Links to good tutorials? Sample scripting? Help files?

any help is appreciated...

Thanks

I think any start with just basic configurations moving things around and trying their hands at scripting. Then you can get into harder subjects such as PanelUI or ColumsUI which alot of the more advanced skins seem to be built around. There is info here and there...just read around and find what info you can.
I am on the same path as you, finding what info I can on skinnging and asking some fo the more advanced skin makers how this is done or how you make this look that way..etc. Br33T seems to be the premier skinner for foobar well atleast as far as I am concerned. There are many good skins out there but his seem to be a cut above.
