I have Etymotic musician ear plugs with the removable/changeable button filters. The retention ring of the filters looks a lot like the tip retention ring for the Campfire Audio IEM.
Has anyone tried to use existing custom fit earplugs as tips for their IEM?
I don't imagine that they would sound as good as a true custom, but I wonder. I just wish that I'd thought of this yesterday, and I could have looked at lots of IEM to see if it is a feasible idea.
