I just spent more on a used DAC which doesn't get close to it in some measurements...

How do you measure if it's better than another DAC without hearing it?
 
My STX has 124dB SNR and some other good stuff, which is better than this dac... but it's using the raspberry pi stuff and that's something people are using a lot nowadays, so it might be interesting (I put it in my Pocket account, to see what happens to it)

Most likely the 2nd one, I seriously doubt they're pulling a true 124 dB SNR.
