Apple just continues to annoy the s**t out of people.

But that is their target market.

Trying to convert PC users to buying a Mac. Which they can put Windows on. LOL.

Nice job Apple.

But then again, the whole company is based on denial, right down to their trademark name.

One thing that he noticed from the headers was that Apple's legal department are using Microsoft Entourage.

That came from the next to last link..

I can't believe they use that much thermal paste.. That's insane!

...the hell?

Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen done to a computers internals. Why in the world would they use that much thermal paste? One of the first and most important things you learn about computers is that the less thermal paste the better the conduction of heat...what the @#$% were they thinking?

Jesus, did they think the paste was pure copper or something? It looks like they're trying to make little heatsinks OUT of the thermal paste itself!

WOW!

Isn't that stuff also conductive!?

On another note. I have a Powerbook and appearantly the PS wire is fraying. I thought it was my fault but when I went to the apple website and looked it up there are ~400 bad feedbacks on the PS wire!

I'm not paying $80 to have it replaced

Thermal paste can be electrically conductive, but isn't always. Basically it's just a medium that transmits heat better than air, which can apply to lots of oils, oxides, metals, etc. High performance thermal paste (which this isn't) is generally higher in metal content, and is more likely to be electrically conductive.

I heard Arctic Silver 3 was conductive. Thankfully, I used Arctic Silver 5 when I first tried to apply thermal paste on my processor. (I put a gigantic layer of it on top of the die
