Considering upgrading from my AK Jr to something with more internal storage, a larger screen and better firmware.
My impression from what I've read is that the Cowon P1 would have a similar sound signature to the AK Jr (not overly analytical, slightly warm) and meet my needs in terms of the screen and storage.
Has anyone got experience with both DAPs who might be able to compare the two? Or at least share their thoughts on whether the Cowon would be a reasonable upgrade, or whether there are other players out there that I should be considering.
Budget would be around £500ish - which puts the AK70 in range, but I'm not sure if it's the best option, and I'm not wedded to any particular brand.
