[Fallingwater]

I bought for very little money a 7 that, in the words of the seller, turns off spontaneously and for no apparent reason, and often enough that listening to anything is an exercise in frustration. When it does play, though, everything works - in other words, the memory and audio circuitry are OK.

I've tried googling, but predictably, "iaudio 7 turns off" returns a lot of hits of reviews mentioning turning off the thing, and nothing about people having this problem.

I'm still waiting for it in the mail, but if I can get some info on fixing it in the meantime, all the better. I'm not afraid of cracking stuff open and I'm handy with a soldering iron, so if surgery is required I should be able to do it.

Never happens to me, never heard of the problem either, so i don't know what you could do about it...
