Anyone here tried installing this battery in their D2? I used my D2 for video a lot of the time, and the battery life is definitely shorter than what it used to be.

Yeah, but this seems to be an actual battery made for the D2.

Might just be - hard to tell from the picture. The seller has good ratings, so it should be worth a try. Post a review if you buy it.

Yeah, interesting. I've been looking at those replacement batteries, but the battery of my D2 is doing just fine after more than a year and a half. Music only...

I use mine for lots of video, so thats probably why its wearing down faster.

Its still good though, so I'll leave it for now. Took apart my D2 the other day at home just out of curiosity, and its comes apart extremely easily.

Would you mind posting some directions? Maybe a little "how-to"? I'd like to know how to disassemble the D2 without damaging it, for a future battery replacement.

Its easy, take out the screw and you can see the rest yourself.
