Brent Mason is THE absolute most sought after session guitarist in country music. According to his website, almost all of the songs in the Billboard Country Charts top 10 at any given time include his guitar work. He's an amazing guitarist all-around (he plays a lot of jazz and rock as well) and was discovered by Chet Atkins. The sheer number of country albums that he records is STAGGERING.

I checked the Allmusic.com site and he as 6 pages of credits. Pretty impressive.

I then checked the Allmusic.com site for Reggae drummer Sly Dunbar, and discovered that he was 12 pages of credits. Almost twice as many. Astounding. It's estimated that the "Riddim Twins" (Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare) have performed on and/or produced around 200,000 tracks.
Wow.
