I've been looking for a pair of Sennheiser CX300 ear buds as I have heard they are very good. I turned to ebay to see if there was anything there. I came across tons of great deals, but I am not sure if they are legit or not. The packaging seems a little suspicious. I was wondering if there was someone more educated out there who could give me their thoughts.

I agree, I have bought HP from ebay (and as far as I know, have been ok) but after reading about the Grado/ Senn nightmares I just would not go there for HPs. The worst part would be always wondering if you were listening to the real thing or not.

The CX300s are probably the most counterfeited headphones in existence.

Just buy the EP630s (direct from Amazon) or the MylarOnes. Some have also stated the CX300s are..sibilant.
