for the past five years or so i have been using a darkvoice 336i to drive my senn hd650. although i have been relatively happy with that setup, i feel its time to upgrade. i'm currently considering a woo wa6-se. with shipping, that puppy runs just shy of $1100. i would welcome suggestions for other options in that price range. actually, i don't want to spend any more than the woo costs and i'm not interested in solid state or hybrid gear.  thanks...

Is there a reason you don't want to get the WA6 SE?
 
You can also look at Donald North Audio, Decware, and some of the Bottlehead amps. I'm sure there are others I forgot in that price range.

not really. in fact, unless someone can present a better solution, i will probably go with that. its been several years since i've shopped for a head amp and am unsure of what is out there. thanks for your suggestions.
