I got some sennheiser HD435s last week, but I just returned them. They were not worth 100 dollars >

These are some headphones I am interested in. (They are all under 150, mind you)

AKG:
K450
K518 LE/DJ

Audio Technica:
ATH-SJ5
ATH-SQ5
ATH-FC700
ATH-WM5

Sennheiser PX200

Denon AH D1001

Creative Aurvana Live

Grado S60/S80
... How bad is the sound leak?

Basically they should be able to be driven without an amp (Ima get one soon though).
They should have good sound, I'm an audiophile in training. They should be light enough and stylish enough to take out without looking too out of place.

Suggestions anybody?

I don't really do headphones so I can't offer much here but the SR60 and 80 are supposed to leak a lot and they are definitely anything but stylish. I've heard they sound pretty good though.

i have 518 dj, worth the money, slightly, recessed mids though

if you love bass and dont want any leakage dont get grados

i havent tried on the fc700 yet but ive tried sj3's they're good i think they sound the same so i'm guessing they're better sounding and obviously better looking

youd rather have the px100 rather than the px200 if your looking for quality, but if your looking for more portability, bass and isolation, the px200s are for you

if your a headphone newbie... portapros are the best! no isolation though, but still the best and theyre smaller and cheaper.

D1001 and Aurvana Live are pretty much the same headphone, but the Live's look better I think.

PX200 are severely flawed. The cups are pretty small so isolation is hit or miss depending on your ears. Bass is definitely a notch below the PX100.

About open headphones.. They will all leak and the amount leaked will depend on how loud you play your music.

^ Live's look better and sound worse due to inner built.
