Could do with some help choosing a new pair of headphones

I would like a pair of headphones for music (hip hop, gangsta rap, r and b) and playing games. Heard the dt770/80 is a good phone for my needs.
 
Thoughts will be appreciated.

What source(s) are you going to be plugging the headphones into?
Computer? on-board sound or installed sound card?
xbox?
PS3?
