I was wondering if the Samsung 840 EVO MZ-MTE1T0BW 1TB mSATA drive it will work using an mSATA to ZIF and ZIF-Toshiba CF 50pin adapters.

The SSD mSATA drives that work with the iRiver iHP-120 player using Rockbox are:

1. Crucial M500 240GB mSATA drive (cat. no. CT240M500SSD3)
2. Crucial M500 480GB mSATA drive (cat. no. CT480M500SSD3). After two weeks the drive is not recognized by the iHP-120 player and Windows (mSATA-USB enclosure).
3. MyDigitalSSD 240GB mSATA drive (cat. no. MDMS-BP4-240)

Did you ever find out if the 1tb drive would work in the ihp-120?
I'm considering getting one of these daps again even if all I can get is 240gb much less 480gb. But I also see that the ipod 5.5g can used the 480gb drive. Either one would be rockboxed. I would need to find the best wps for it :)
