Cost of M3 amplifier

Even paying more for a prebuilt amp from MisterX or Rockhopper (both excellent amp creators) is a bargain for this amp IMO.

Actually, TREAD is from Tangent, not AMB. See this link: Tangent Regulator, Adjustable, plus Diode bridge

That looks pretty good. Although I've never seen those opamps before.

I'm not a DIYer, but that looks really good for $280 shipped to me.

The parts look to be all quality and the case looks really nice. Sort of like the Shanling cases that Meier Audio uses with the four corner posts.

The back with 5 sets of RCA jacks looks like the back of my HD300. If it's like my amp, I'm guessing the knob on the front selects between 3 different inputs and then the other two sets of RCAs are pre-amp and loop outs? If so, this amp is a lot of bang for the buck. Just as a headphone amp that's a good deal for the M3, but with pre-amp outs as well that's a really good deal.

Edit: Just found the site. It's a 4 input selector with 1 pair of pre-outs. That's nice.

What kind of power supply does it come with? Is it a wall wart?

If it comes with the OP27 opamp as shown in the photos, I'd recommend replacing them. The OP27 is an old-generation low-noise opamp but is very slow. I recommend AD8610, AD8065, OP627, AD843 or AD825.

Note that AD8610 and AD8065 must be mounted on Browndog adapters in order to plug into the DIP sockets, and they must be used with a power supply that does not exceed 27V (the default recommended voltage is 24V)..

Can anyone arrange these opamps in decending order of SQ?

This is a highly subjective matter. People are going to give you all sorts of different answers based on their preferences.

This would not be $280 shipped for people in the US.

I cannot read some of the language used on the site. Are the shipping prices listed per 1 kg? If so, that would be pretty expensive to ship the M3 to the US.

If I do order, I'm just going to have them ship it to Korea and have my uncle send it to the US over the boat. It's much cheaper than having them send it to me over EMS, and I'm in no hurry
