Has anyone modified their Cosmic to a better, more accurately tracking volume pot? I've had Headroom change this part, but it still will not track well with IEMs at low volume setting. I'm looking for a fix.

Thanks.

^ eh i had the exact same problem.

'cosmic tokyo' or similar?

save yourself the hassle and grab an Alps R27 (either 10K if your amp is small cmoy, or a 50K-100K if it's higher), i think it maybe called 'alps blue velvet' too (but that's the name given it it buy DIYers, not 'official').

It's pretty straight foward to change once you figure out the pin sequence on the pot~

This is a Headroom brand Cosmic Reference.

When I opened the case, I discovered that the volume pot is Mexican made and may be socketed to the circuit board. I really need a way to install something of higher quality.

Tyll, where are you?
