How is the Corda's volume control? Does it have uneven volumes between channels at low volumes? Is it noisy while turning?

I'm asking because I want to evaluate the Alps pots (the same blue type the Corda uses) for a few of my DIY amps and have a choice between the Alps and the Noble pots of similar size.

Seems great to me. It is not uneven at lower volume levels and I don't remember it being noisy while turning, but that's not the sort of thing that would bother me so don't quote me on it. I definitely prefer it to the panasonic one I used for my DIY amp.

Hey where are you getting it from? I would love to get one for my next DIY project.

www.angela.com seems to have the same kind used in the Corda (the "blue" kind

) for $22. Their shipping is $8 minimum, and I'm ordering other parts anyway, so it shouldn't be too bad. I plan on putting one of these in my DIY Szekeres (to replace the darned digital pot), and in the Apheared #42 that I just tried last night (and I do like it

).

I also have no complaints about the Corda volume control...quiet and well balanced.
