Hi, my housemate just got a 4G Ipod and keeps bugging me to use my computer to transfer all his music to it. (hasnt got firewire on his pc yet).

So what software do we use to just copy files from all his mp3 cds to the ipod?

This is without doing the whole iTunes thing where you need to build a library and snyc it and stuff.

Hes been doing it with the Anapod trial software but that only allows 1 song at a time.

thanks
Amit

You can use Ephpod, but I'd get your tag's in order first. If you've already done that, iTunes really isn't any more difficult (you don't have to sync... you can just transfer).

Since they're already MP3s, all you have to do is open up iTunes, the iPod will show up with it's library, and you can just drag the MP3 files from the CD directly onto the iPod directory in iTunes and they'll transfer over.

Btw, if he has USB 2.0 he can use his computer..
