In the reply text box, I can no longer use control C and control V to copy and paste text from other websites.  
It would not work at all using Google Chrome, so after about 10 failed attempts, I tried Internet Explorer 8, which did let me copy and paste.  
 
Wondering if it's Google Chrome specific issue or just coincidence it happened to work when opened Internet Explorer.  
I also have trouble trying to get the cursor to appear in the text box at least half the time.  Clicking the mouse in the text box often does not even give me a cursor.

Jon, what version of Chrome are you using?  I'd like to see if I can replicate this issue.

Hey, Joe, I'm running the current version of Google Chrome Beta.  Win7 Ultimate 32 bit..

So far I have had none of the problems you faced. I am using Win7 64 bit, with the current version of chrome too. It updates itself, so I don't really care about it.

Jon L, I tested with both Chrome stable and beta, and both appear to be pasting in text copied from another site. I'm running Win7, 64bit.

It's a mystery.  It does seem to work at other times with exact same settings.

I was just able to paste the above random link, but right afterwards, I was unable to paste a link from imageshack below that.  But then the imageshack link pasted fine into other applications like Google search window.  I'm perplexed.  An imageshack/Head-fi specific issue perhaps??

In my post above, I'm seeing garbled, overlaid text at the end.  It seems to be partial text from the imageshack link I tried to paste.
 
I can now see that garble from both Google Chrome and Int Explorer 8.  Right before I pushed "submit" in reply text box, that garble was not there/visible..

Jon L, can you send me a link to the page you pulled the imageshack link from?  I'd like to test a few things.

In Firefox it's the other way round. I'm forced to use control C and control V to copy and paste.
Copy and paste with the right click of the mouse doesn't work.
