Hi, I hope this is the best forum for this question. Didn't see anything closer.
I have tape cassettes going back to the 70's and 80's, in decent condition, I think. The audio on these was recorded on equipment ranging from a 1971 cassette recorder/player from Rat Shack, to a decent stereo from the early 80's.
I'd like to convert these to digital format. I am looking for a good quality player. I do have a recorder ready, a TASCAM DR-100 Mark III, so I don't necessarily need the recorder part of it.
I don't want to go crazy on price (crazy> middle high hundreds), since the original recordings themselves are, as I wrote, not exactly state of the art even for the time period they were recorded in. But I still want to have them for posterity.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you.
