Variable bitrates of V2(192 kbps avg.) to V0(224 kbps avg.) sound exactly the same as constant bitrates of 192 kbps to 320 kbps for most people.
320 kbps CBR is overkill and a waste of space. If you're paranoid about quality, V0 is a better option because you get the same quality at smaller sizes. If you really want even smaller file sizes, V2 would be the best option.
