I've finally got the HD 650s on the way to me and man am I excited!
Ive seen mentioned on this thread numerous times before that the ALO Continental is a great pairing with the 650's, but I haven't found much specific info on sound signature of the combo, or why the two are a good pair.
What do I have to look forward to? How "tubey" does the amp sound with the 650s? Is the Continental a relatively warm sounding amp for the 650s? If "tubey" and warm, do you guys feel that you give up resolution with the continental's "tubey-ness," or is the resolution maintained, just with a smoother sound? Thanks for any input!
