Hi everyone. Been lurking these forums for a bit and finally decided to take the plunge into the audio world.
So I owned a pair of Audio-Technica m50x for a while but never really considered investing in a better pair until recently. My friend let me borrow his Denon D5000 for the past few months during quarantine, and lets just say it's been an eye opening experience. After quite a bit of research I pulled the trigger on Modhouse Argon Mk3's along with a Schiit Heresy and Modi 3. As I'm impatiently waiting for the Argons to ship in the next few months, I'm trying to figure out the optimal setup with my Xbox.
So I'm hoping I have this correct..
Optical cable from Xbox ---> DAC ---> RCA cables --> amp ---> Argons
Now for the Antlion modmic, would plugging them into the xbox controller via a Y splitter work without interfering with the audio?
Is there a more optimal setup given the equipment I'm working with?
Sorry if this got lengthy, thank you in advance for your input. If anyone cares to share their experience with the Argon's for gaming that'd be much appreciated too. (I know I'm going to love them for music
