Connector lock Beyerdynamic T5p Gen. 2 vs. Cable update Hart Audio Cable

Hello,

the 3.5mm jack plugs from Beyerdynamic have an additional edge, which I have marked in red in the picture. Beyerdynamic says it keeps the connector from slipping out. What are your experiences with update cables from e.g. Hart Audio Cables with the plugs, which do not have this edge. Are they stuck or are there problems?

On my T1 3rd gen, the plugs just go into the socket, no obvious click, no locking.
How is yours?
