I have the Pioneer VSX-D711 and was wondering what is the best way connecting it to the computer? I have them hooked up with the DT 990-250 for the time being when I get some money and make a final decision vali,magni/modi or o2/odac.
 
There is optical in from the computer, RCAs and lots more!

Getting a bit of hiss/static noise. Probably because it's really old anyways. Any suggestions on the magni vs vali vs o2? To pair with 990s and maybe the HE-400, HD 650 in the future.

They'll all be sufficient with the HE-400. Personally I LOVE the looks of the Schiit Stack, the o2 just doesn't do it for me.

I've only heard the o2, but iirc, both the o2 and Magni are pretty neutral. You'll get a warmer sound with the Vali though.
