Hi!
I've disbanded an old audio system and got JBL LSR 305 active speakers.
I will be using laptops/smartphones as audio source. Each laptop has only 3.5mm analog audio output. Since these laptops have awful DAC's, when connected with 3.5mm---> RCA >JBL305 speakers volume is low (speakers at 9/10, windows volume 100%). JBL305 require 1.228 Vrms.
I have FiiO D30K DAC from old system, but its useless since it has only optical/coaxial input.

Could you please provide some recommendations on how to connect several laptops (not at the same time) to universal interface which will provide decent volume for JBL 305 speakers?
a) something like Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 solo? Dont know if i can plug in 3.5mm from laptop in this. Has USB input.
b) a headphone amp, like FiiO A1, FiiO E10k, Q1? not sure if headphone amps will provide decent output to active speakers.
c) bluetooth receiver like NuForce BTR100 or BluDento BLT-2, with aptx? This will eliminate 3.5mm cables and use only bluetooth connection, but im not sure abount sound quality/DAC from those receivers.

FiiO K3 would do the job.
