Summary of adapter: 1/4-inch (6.35mm) to 3.5mm adapter. In other words, 3.5mm is female and 1/4 inch plug is male.
All I know right now is that I can connect a 3.5mm cable using the adapter to my speakers. I just don't know if it'll work.
