Greetings,

I've got a Creative PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion sound card. it has SPDIF In & out... My speakers are logitech Z-5500 with a digital/optical connection...

When I go from SPDIF OUT to the digital optical connection on the speakers.... I get no digital input to the speakers... do the cables go bad?

any ideas? How do I get digital to the speakers?

Thanks

i did a quick google search and found out that you must use the coax digital input on the speakers if coming from a PC sound card

I would note that you should go analog to these speakers. Digital with your system would actually be a downgrade. The card would have a better DAC then those speakers so analog will trump digital. Try both out and use your ears to decide.
