connecting a amplifier ? help

hi .... well iam a newbie @ home audio ...so i have a few questions about a amplifier ..
 
i got an old amplifier LEM Procon 400 and JBL Control 5 speakers ... now i would like to connect to a preamplifier with RCAs .... well this amp doesn have RCAs only XLR-F connectors and i wouldnt like to buy adapters cause they arent cheap or r hard to find ... can i solder female RCAs to XLR-F connectors inputs ??
 
any help would be nice ?  :)

It's a shame with the rules they have now on Head-Fi.  Your best bet is to contact a mod and ask if you post pics that clearly illustrate your situation on the DIY section of Head-Fi.  Someone there should be able to help you solder new connectors on your cables or create a convertor that would work.
