Hi,

I am new in speaker setup so I have a couple question regarding this.

amp: Emotiva BasX A-100
speaker: Wharfedale Diamond 220

I try to connect the speakers with two ways:
1) standard connection like the third pic
2) bi-wiring like the second pic

When I try the standard connection, I realize that there's no sound comes from my setup. I try to change the positive negative but no change. Then I try the bi-wiring connection and the same thing happened. I use the banana plug at first and remove it to see if there's any change. Nope, still no sound. I made my own cable so I am not sure if there's something wrong with it but I just think that it should work just fine. Is there something wrong with the connection, cable, amp or speakers?

In one pic it has yellow cables and the other orange is this just different ends of the cable and also it looks like two wires are going to one terminal?

This picture is the most conventional way to connect a speaker, with the jumpers and 2 wires. I'd start there and go from there. If you have no sound in that wiring, I'd say something up the chain is at fault.

Didn’t see the jumpers in the last pic so it is right. Just make sure everything on the source is right and it can be just one push of a button that fixes it been there done that.
