So I have an Xonar Essence STX with Beyer DT770 headphones. I use the Hi-Fi (HF) settings with WASAPI output on Foobar2000 on my music for best sound quality.
I was wondering what Video program, codec and settings I should use for best quality, possibly enabling the Dolby Headphone settings, I heard they are good.
For instance, should I try to bypass as much as possible in the video player/ codec and simply enable the Xonar Essence STX integrated Dolby Headphone feature? How about outputing trough WASAPI in the video codec? Maybe just use Cyberlink PowerDVD?
Anyone has some good settings on their movie rig?
