Hi,

I just want to make sure I understand this. In going from my computer to an outboard DAC, can I simply use the digital outs on the Xitel? Is there really nothing more to it? Are there specific DAC requirements, or will pretty much any of them work?

Any DAC will work, just connect a digital cable to your sound card, make sure your card is configured for digital use, and you are set.
