So, i noticed a lot of you guys talk about tuning the EQs to your preference. I have no idea what to do in this area, if i can even do anything. Im using a FiioE7, docked on the E9, so thats what makes me wonder if im able to tweak sound at all. I mostly listen to pandora as well. In general im asking, am i able to use an EQ? If so, what should i be using/use? And how do i tune it to what i like?

If you mean software based EQ then, sure you can use if you have suitable playback software. Tuning the sound ... maybe learning something 'bout use of EQ would help you to start.

Ah, well i had that coming. Haha sorry i did the typical noob thing an created a thread without searching. Thanks, so what EQ software would you guys reccomend?

Any prefered EQ software guys? I think i heard WASAPI for one, any others?

For anything that supports VST plugins (such as foobar2000 with VST support plugins; yes, I just said it needs plugins to use more plugins), Electri-Q is a reasonably popular choice here. There's a free edition, which helps. Note that it's a parametric EQ, not a graphic EQ.
 
I just use the hardware graphic EQ on my X-Fi cards, though.
