So I've been doing a bit of research and am looking for the best sound possible that I can get out of my computer. I currently own a set of Denon ah-D2000 and am thinking of either getting the Sennheiser 650's or 700's. I also have an internal sound card but feel that this isn't adequate enough for producing the best quality sound.

What is the difference?
 
Is this all I need? Are there any extra cables I should be getting or will this take care of it. Also, is this completely overkill for listening to radio/itunes music? I'm not looking to waste money but definitely want a very quality sound setup.

In that price range you really should try something like the Ultra Desktop Amp.  It really makes the AH-D2000 shine.

Ideally I'd like to keep the price reasonable and not go overkill if I don't need to. Are you suggesting that getting the Ultra desktop amp and using it with the Dennon ah-d2000 is better option than getting say...http://www.amazon.com/NuForce-Icon-Performance-Headphone-amplifier/dp/B00370OIYE/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_2 and Sennheisder hd700's?
 
Also does the desktop amp have DAC or what else would I need

It's an Amp/DAC combo.
 
And if you wanted, you'd still be able to get the Senn HD-650s or the HiFiMAN HE-400 or HE-500s (if you were so inclined).

No, it's not a must have.  By the time you're wanting to change out the cable, you may be comfortable enough to make you own as well.
