I wouldn't worry so much about whether or not you test them with your amplifier. Placement and room acoustics would have way more impact than the difference between amplifiers. And you can't test that unless you demo them all in your own home. If you use the same source material, you should be able to tell which you like better.

I have bought a Marantz PM6010 (second hand). I bought it from a friend and he gave me a couple of floorstanding speaker.
 
I must say the speakers are not too well so I need to change them.
 
I will listen generally rock/hard rock style.
 
I will check the Monitor Audio BX2's. But if there are any other options you might advice, I will try them too.
