Hello strangers.... I haven't posted here in a while, but I'm still lurking about...
My wife became a band director at a small school this year and I've set up pcs for her at work and the house. She is wanting some notation software: ie she plays the keyboard and the computer generates the sheet music. She is familiar with sibelius software but is not sure if that is what she really wants (and I don't want to shell out $$$ if she is not sure). She is very much a computer novice and whatever she gets, it will have to be very straight forward (simple) for her to use it.
I am interested in anything, but am trying to stay under $100 for the time being unless she can try it before buying it. I need to put a better sound card on the PC at the house, so I will consider software bundled with a sound card as well.
(We had a bundled program several years ago that worked well, but that was back in the Win95 days and I've since lost the install code.)
