I use the comply tips Tx400 because of the wax guard.  Gives me a little extra comfort in knowing I can't gum up the filters on my IEM's.  But I see now they have the comfort tips with wax guards.  Is there any loss of isolation when using the comfort tips, and if so, is it bad?  I use my IEM's for travel, and I find they block out the airplane noise quite well.  But if I can open up the end of the tip, I think I'll get a bit better sound, and open them up some.  Anyone have some insight?
