Also it won't hurt to run the 'Rockbox Installer' in Administrator mode. To run in admin mode, simply right click the exe, and click on the second option 'Run as administrator'. Tell us how it goes.

I don't think I emphasized N00B enough.  I have no idea what you mean.

If you arent sure what this means then perhaps its best to not mess around with computers. Maybe stick to Legos

I tried google.  None of the instructions were clear and different sites had conflicting information.

Anyway the damn thing is broken now.  POS didnt even last a day.

It seems like the buttons are all screwed around... like I hit the home button and it's asking me if I want to shuffle or repeat. .... I hit files and it asks me if I want to record.  What.

Any ideas why it would do this?

I'll probably take it back for something that works for more than a day.

Wait what?  I did?  I'll just reinstall the original firmware and send it back.

This thing is just getting worse it seems like.... now all it wants to do it play the FM radio.

Why did I have to sell my ipod for this pos.  Worst decision ever.

Okay now I have an album that is outside the "music" folder.

How do I delete it since it's outside the music folder I can't access it through "my computer"

I can only access "my music" through there.

Is there another place in "my computer" that I can access all folders so I can delete this 1 stray album????

Here are some pics I took.  As you can see 2005 Horns and Halos is out of place.  How do I delete this?

I noticed after I disconnect the clip+ from my computer it goes back to OF.

I have to reboot to get back into rockbox

Is it supposed to do this?

I'm trying to stay in rockbox.... I don't like the OF.

Yes, now, try when you're in the OF to switch between MSC and MTP, try both I can't remember which one it is (system setting -Usb mode) plug clip back in and the file should show in "my computer" and you can delete it. Unplug,  reboot back to RB and it should be gone
