I currently have the v-moda vibratos which I know they discontinued and my headphones recently broke after a couple years of use, and I absolutely loved them, so I'm looking for some similar or better headphones. I saw that these headphones were on sale for $54 for "exclusive email subscribers." Should I go with these headphones? How do they compare to the v-moda vibratos?

The Vibratos have a v-shaped signature while the A161 has more of a warm sweet sound to them.  They aren't as bassy, but also don't have as strong of treble-focus.  In contrast to the Vibrato, you may find the A161 to be mid-heavy.
