Dear all,
 
I am considering to update tubes for my WA3.
Both 5998 and 7236 can substitute the stock GE 6080WC.
 
Nowadays, the price of 5998 seems more than two times of 7236.
I want to know whether 5998 deserves the extra price when compares to 7236.
 
My system is Rega Saturn + WA3 + DT880 (600ohm).

Both got medium gain but 7236 is more SS feel, depends if you like the warmth of the 5998
