Hey there, guys and gals.

I recently purchased an AK Junior along with a pair of Sennheiser HD650s. The pairing seems great to my ears, much better than my previous iPod Video 5.5.

I've been looking into an OPPO HA-2SE as well, to add to the mix.

My questions here are in regards to how things sound when the aforementioned gadget is in effect - I've heard that the HD650s really shine when properly amped and the HA-2SE seems to be able to do the trick just fine.

Also, I am not quite certain if I can bypass the Junior DAC so I can use the OPPO one - is it worth it, and can I actually do it? I've read that the Junior has a line-out, so I guess I should be able to?

Any impressions on the sound differences with and without the OPPO straight from a Junior would be vastly helpful.

Hello, HD650 has an impedance peak at low frequencies as much as 600 ohms. I doubt Oppo HA2-SE can drive the HD650 at its full potential because in Oppo web page it says they support up to 300 ohms headphones at max.
