why?

you can buy a really sweet fluke for $600 on ebay...

sorry if that was $100 then i would get one for my ipaq, but $600? hahaha no

Hehe,

Give you guys 5 years and unlimited funding, I can see PDA's on Earth Orbits. I can see PDA's going unmanned missions to Mars or something.

Really wicked. PDA's on a decline now that cellulars are so darn advanced now.

yet with 500mhz processing power they still can't play movie without looking like cheap stop animation....

uhh i can play FMV on my ipaq from a CF card @ 29~ FPS without issue

ok i'm talking about the problems of downscaling larger divxs but anyway i'ms ure there's plenty of newer pdas which can do it.

Well of course they'll be a problem downscaling larger movies, it's tough stuff just to decode them. I mean 720p HDTV requires a P4 2.4ghz just to decode, never mind scaling.

However on the new PDAs, they can easily play content encoded for them.
