So there is some travel planned for this year and after the joys of the ATH-ANC9's that I have travelled with on my last few trips I am looking to treat my GF to a set of ANC headphones/IEMs (she tried to steal my ANC9's last time). However, the upcoming trips look to be a pack light, lots of connections sort, so I am looking for something more compact than the ANC9's.
What choices are there on the market these days for a more compact (thinking on-ear vs over ear), foldable, ANC headphone or IEM? I could be tempted into getting a pair for myself, but I am also keeping in mind that the more I spend on ANC headphones the less I will have to spend whilst travelling.
From what I have seen it appears that on-ear ANC seems to have disappeared, and even IEM ANC is hard to find (so far only found the Bose QC20 and the ATH-ANC33is)
