Currently I have the following:

iRiver H140 (great)
Ray Samuels SR-71 (also great)
Sennheiser PX200 (not bad for the price)
Koss KSC35 (great)
Sennheiser HD600 (really great)
Sennheiser HD25 with velour pads (comfort poor, sound lacking in 3D)
Ultimate Ears UE10Pro (don't wear these any more as they aggravate my ears)

Today I tried on a pair of Bose headphones in a shop and found them really comfy. It reminded me how I am no longer taking music with me on the train.

Can someone recommend a small set of headphones that are very very comfortable (esp for someone with a big head/ears like me), and won't disturb other travellers? I'm done with IEMs and in-ear phones. I have an amp, so something hard to drive is fine.

Apologies, I know there are many similar threads.
