I was poking around on Amazon and I noticed that there are a lot of 20-bit remasters of Prestige Coltrane classics such as Soultrane and Lush Life. My albums are all about 10 years old and are therefore not the remastered versions. Has anyone heard both the non-remastered and remastered versions? If so, what is the difference? And would it be worth it for me to repurchase those albums?

Hmm, I just noticed this goes for the Miles Prestige stuff too. Dang it. Looks like I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy one to A/B with the non-remastered version.

After I try them both, I'll reply to myself to let me know how it goes.
