well all i really wanted to say was my c3 arrived! yaybut....i'm getting the 'pop or c'lick'' between songs boooo

to test i ripped one album in my format of choice, mp3 320 cbr, using both itunes and dbpoweramp. same result from both rips. so neither itunes or dbpoweramp are at fault.additionally i'm not getting the 'pop' or 'click' when playing those same rips on a ipod nano, sony nwz-f806 or a nexus 4. i'm not saying those devices are perfect but for when it is 3 against 1.
not sure what the problem is. could be my pairing of shure 840. who knows. i'm not having a shout at the c3 here, i'm sure it is a fine player and i wanted to love it. but based on the above findings, it'll be going on ebay

and it wont connect to Linux.
It happens with all C3, all formats, you can't correct it, I don't hear it anymore. It's such a quite noise It never bothered me. As I've said before it sounds like a vinyl record when the needle hits a speck of dust.
i don't think that makes it acceptable does it. this is supposed to be a audiophile grade player right? appreciated by audiophiles right? but for audiophiles to accept 'quiet noise' between tracks really is questionable.
yeah it is a shame. i want to love the product and support a small company in the process. initial 'pop' thoughts were to sell on but it is so affordable i'm happy to hold on to it to see what develops down the line
