Colorado Head-Fi Meet July 19, 2025

Hi Colorado Head-Fi’ers!

I’m posting so you can save the date for our next local Head-Fi meet, to be held on July 19, 2025.

Date & Time: Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11am to 6pm. (Date is firm but time is tentative).
Location: TBD*

*Regarding the location: I might be able to host in my office again, but I might not. There’s a chance my firm will move to a smaller space before July, and we were already getting cramped as it was. I am in the process of researching alternative locations that have capacity for 50 or so people, lots of sturdy desk space, and lots of electrical outlets. If you know of any good locations, please PM me!


I will share more information as I have it, but Danny McKinney (@SageM ) from RAAL-requisite / RAAL 1995 will likely attend again. He should have the new silver Star-12 cable, interface, and interface cable to demo, plus the Immanis and Magna. He may also bring a number of other exciting new products (non-RAAL), some of which might not have been released to the public yet!

STAX may also send a representative and some gear! Local dealer The Music Room should be able to join us again, too! Maybe HeadAmp will also make a repeat appearance? And more.

*Regarding the date: While July 26th is tentative, I would say it’s likely more than 90%. Most attendees at our last meet voted for May. Unfortunately, May doesn’t work well for some of the manufactures who expressed interest in attending and/or sending gear. The High End Munich and World of Headphones shows are in May. Waiting until July should allow most of those manufacturers to attend, and it means we may be treated to new products that are released this summer.

Great Chris! I may be out of town, but I'll stay in touch. I could probably bring the same gear as last time; AIC-10 and Tambaqui, with whatever headphones we might be short on!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I've been told another major Head-Fi meet might be taking place on the same day. Once I know for sure, I will update here. If necessary, I may try to shift our date a week before or after so manufacturers and attendees won't have to choose.

Anyway, thanks for the posts--now I can tag the usual suspects without waiting 24 hours!

Hey all, glad I caught this one! I missed the last one because I just didn't notice it (even with the @). Im excited for this upcoming one, but don't have too much to bring. I can bring Aeolus again, maybe my newest acquisition- Kiwi ears quintet, but I don't have too much else here. If anyone wants help loading/unloading/setting up- I can contribute that way! Looking forward to hanging out with y'all.

San Jose meet-up. Leo and I are flying in to help man the Musicteck table.

The San Jose meet to which @EnigmaFotos refers is the one I was worried about, and I just got confirmation it will be on July 26. I imagine a lot of the manufacturers & vendors who I was hoping would visit us in Denver will be tied up in CA. Ditto for some head-fi'ers I was hoping might attend (such as @EnigmaFotos !). It probably makes sense to shift our date. I will reach out to Danny and some other manufacturers to see what works, but I'm thinking one of these dates:

• July 19
• Aug 2
• Aug 16

Please feel free to weigh in about which of those is best. Thanks!
