Hello Colorado Head-Fi’ers!

Save the date for our next Head-Fi meet, to be held on December 7, 2024.

Date & Time: Saturday, December 7, 2024, 11am-7pm
Location: 1675 Broadway, Denver, CO 80202 (my office in downtown Denver)

We received some requests last time to make our meet longer, so that's exactly what we're doing. Eight hours! And, a friendly Head-Fi'er has promised to provide an epic lunch (slow roasted pork butts & more) to keep everyone fueled for some serious listening. (Don't worry, the eating will take place away from the gear). We also have an 8:15pm post-meet dinner reservation at Guard & Grace for those who signed on for that.

Danny McKinney, @SageM , with RAAL 1995 / RAAL-requisite is confirmed to join us again! He'll be bringing a bunch of awesome headphones and amps, and probably an unexpected surprise.

HeadAmp is also attending, and bringing along the new CFA3!

And The Music Room is attending, and bringing some great gear to demo, and will be offering live trade-ins and appraisals!

Other dealers/vendors/manufacturers are also very much welcome to join us. (E.g., fingers crossed Schitt and Mimic Audio visit and/or lend some gear again). Spread the word!

@Mister Crash is bringing his slice of e-stat heaven and other goodies again!

Also, please drop a line in this thread to let us know (1) whether you want to join for lunch, (2) whether you would want to join a post-meet dinner, and (3) what gear you anticipate bringing.

Long-time listener, first-time caller
Earlier this year, I acquired a Schiit Mjolnir 2 and Gungnir MB, which completely changed my music listening experience. Now, I find myself using headphones almost exclusively, and I'm not going to lie; I've become a bit obsessed. While I'm still relatively new to high-end head-fi, I'm eager to connect with fellow enthusiasts, expand my knowledge, and share in this experience.

I'm based in Longmont and would be happy to bring any of my amps, DACs, or headphones to the meetups if they would contribute to the gathering.

Update: I would also do lunch, maybe even the after-event dinner if I can get a long enough hall pass.
