To drive Koss A250 and im716, which one is better:
a simple cmoy with strong (output-wise) opamps, such as LT1364 (60ma).
or
a simple cmoy plus buf634s (2 per channel perhaps) following the opamps.
My thinking is that buf634s may help the opamps to sound better, but, since they are in the signal path, they may also add distortion/noise/whatever to the signal. Any experience or comments? Both phones are moderately hard to drive. No other amps considered. Thanks!
